AS A CHILD

For as long as I can remember, I sang to whatever was on the radio. My first two cassette tapes were from Elvis Presley and Richard Marx. Little did I know that their music would go on to influence my exploration into the vast world of music. I dabbled with guitar as a child but the outdoors and emerging technology won me over. Later, I took up the saxophone and a musician was born. Life had other plans...

I cling to that Memphis SOUL sound. It's in my blood. What I have come to realize about music is that intention matters the way a subtle curve in a dress excites a man. I'm inspired by emotion and motion in art and music.

 Music has been my constant—lifting me, inspiring me, and giving me frisson, that electric shiver of connection I feel in every note. That’s why I named my guitar company Frisson Guitars. It’s not just a business; it’s my story and my craft, shaping instruments with curves and soul that echo the emotions music has always stirred in me.
